Attributed to the artist Nyavo of Pentisawa, Taraba state, eastern Nigeria. The works of the artist were first photographed by Arnold Rubin in the 1960s. For related examples, see Neyt (2006: 106–9, 131) and Fardon (2011: 250, 252). Most of the nose has been lost but can be restored.
