A Lozi (Barotse) beer container of unusual form. Two similar examples are illustrated in Bassani (1977: 109, figs. 514–5); the British Museum holds two nearly identical examples (vide “Bowl; Vessel: British Museum,” n.d.; “Cover; Lid: British Museum,” n.d.).
